Santa Monica Minute: Episode 4

  • Wednesday, May 17th: A heads-up for fans of opera.  SMC’s Music Department presents Bizet’s “Carmen” on The Broad Stage at the Performing Arts Center.  This is a very limited show run, from May 17 through the 21st.  $10 tickets for current SMC students with valid ID.
  • Thursday, May 18th: Are you a student looking to obtain an internship, but don’t know where to begin?  Not to worry, SMC has your back and the answers to your questions from 11:15 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. in HSS Room 154.
  • Saturday, May 20th: The first annual East LA Comic-Con debuts at El Gallo Plaza. Comics, collectibles, celebrities, and cosplay from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  This is a free, all-ages event.
  • If you’re looking for something really different, the Annenberg Community Beach House offers “Personal Narrative – A Visual Arts Exhibition."  This sensual and visual exhibit is free and open every day from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. through June 7th.
