Santa Monica College’s football team fell to 1-2 as the Corsairs lost 43-22 to the Pasadena City College Lancers on Sept. 18 at SMC. The two teams began Saturdays game by scoring three touchdowns each in the first half. The Corsairs struggled to maintain momentum in the second half, ultimately falling into a hole that they could not dig themselves out of.
“We shot ourselves in the foot quite a bit today with simple mistakes.” said Head Coach Kelly post-game.
The Corsairs will look to get back to .500 at Orange Coast College on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m.
