The Los Angeles Rams opened gates to eager fans for their first day of Training camp for the 2022-2023 football season on Friday, July 29, at UC Irvine Athletic facility.
The Rams will hold a total of 10 open practices where fans and the general public get to see what the reigning Super Bowl Champs have in store for this upcoming season. Friday being the first official practice for teams across the NFL, allowed players to pad up for the first time to run drills to test the new offensive and defensive schemes drawn up for the new incoming players.
With veteran players like Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp returning, the Rams are pushing to hold the title for another consecutive season. Although with an exciting off-season with trades being made and new free agent pick-ups, the Rams are prepared for an exciting and challenging road that lies ahead. The Rams will play the Los Angeles Chargers for their first pre-season game August 13, to officially kick off the 2022 season.
