International Day

In a concerted effort to bridge community amongst the students at Santa Monica College (SMC), the Associated Students organized International Day. On May 16, students congregated inside the cafeteria on the SMC main campus from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event was limited to 30 countries, and students were encouraged to sign-up and represent a country of their choice.

The event included a talent contest, traditional and pop dance, singing, a magic show, and other entertainment. International Day aims to dispel division, build unity, and promote cultural appreciation as students navigate the last few weeks of school.
