Accident on 17th leaves two hospitalized

Two people were hospitalized after a four car accident on the corner of 17th street and Pico Boulevard on Tuesday.

According to witnesses a white Mercedes Benz was speeding north from the college and hit a grey Cadillac that was making a turn on 17th street.

The Mercedes then hit the parked car of resident Edna Mendes and pushed the grey Kia Optima into the Honda Pilot parked in front of it.

The driver of the Mercedes and the Cadillac were both taken to the hospital.
