James Powel
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, James Powel learned quickly that everyone has a story. What is taking him longer to learn is that it takes very special people to figure which ones are worth telling. He became interested in journalism at a young age and after taking a stringing job at the Daily News the love affair was confirmed. James has served as the Sports Editor for The Plaid Press at Granada Hills High School and now at The Corsair.
