Glass, Ceramic and Paint, Oh My!

Santa Monica College's Art Department offers a diversified selection of courses for those who have an interest in pursuing art as a major as well as those who are exploring art as an elective or a hobby.

The classes range from sculpture to painting to ceramics and glass blowing among many others.

Those who choose to major in art can be selected by the department to work with a mentor to create a body of work to show. This approach has led to success in Art students transferring to four year Universities.

The Art Department welcomes one and all to come and have fun creating something. Check out the classes in the fall catalog.
