SMC's international students discuss race amid Ms. Japan controversy

The struggle with racial bias is not a uniquely American issue. Back in May Ariana Miyamoto, the bi-racial winner of the Ms. Japan pageant, was criticized by some for not being "Japanese enough" to represent the island nation in the Miss Universe competition. Since that time the issue of the half black, half Japanese beauty queen's ethnicity has been a hot topic in the country. In this video a few of SMC's Japanese students weighed in on the discussion.
