On Monday, May 22 the Santa Monica College Music Department Jazz Ensemble paid tribute to composer saxophonist Wayne Shorter at Santa Monica College Performing Art’s Center with Conductor Frederick Keith Fiddmont and special guests John Beasley and Ralph Moore.

The Santa Monica College Corsairs Women’s Soccer team played against the The El Camino Warriors on August 30, 2019. SMC ended up winning the contest 5-0 against El Camino to start the season. The Corsairs are coming off a 2018 season where they had an early playoff exit.
