Santa Monica, Calif - The Santa Monica College Corsairs’ football team (2-0) defeated the College of the Desert (0-1) 24-10 on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at the Corsair Stadium in Santa Monica. After a field goal in the second quarter and trailing 3-10 at the end of the first half, Santa Monica responded in the second half of the game.

Wide Receivers Sean Grier (9) and Amir Smith (17) both scored receiving touchdowns in the third quarter. Pierce Reynoso (24) scored a rushing touchdown with a 25 yard run in the fourth quarter. The team scored 21 unanswered points in the second half of the game.

The Corsairs play next on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga at 6pm.
