Director of Student Instructional Support: Jeff Jensen

Running for the position of director of student instructional support this semester is third year engineering student Jeff Jensen, 21.

If elected, the Utah native will take over the position from Sadia Afolabi in serving as liaison between the A.S. and campus instructional support services such as the Santa Monica College computer labs, math lab, counseling and library services.
He will also be serving on the academic senate committee.

Key points on his agenda include establishing a campus wide wireless network system, implementing better connectivity within the library and other "improvements around campus."

He also has plans to push for AA degree programs in mathematics, engineering and E-commerce.

Jensen plans to transfer to the California Institute of Technology and intends to pursue a Ph.D.
