Classroom greenhouse

Botany 1 students are watering and checking on their seed projects at least twice a week in the greenhouse supervised by Dr. Backer. The class grows tomatoes, radishes lettuces and sunflowers. The botany students have hands on experience making compost. Other projects in the botany class are the plant propagation by layering strawberries and spider plants.
