The Corsairs finally find their first win in week 4 against Compton College. The Corsairs come back strong after a tough 56-0 lost two weeks ago against Bakersfield College. Santa Monica College (SMC) has finally earned their first win of the season this Saturday against Compton College Tartars after starting off their first three games winless.
2018 Men's Soccer Early Season Recap
After a 14-4-5 2017 season, the Santa Monica College Men’s Soccer team is off to an impressive 5-1 start in 2018. Coach of seven years Tim Pierce said they have a good group and they’re used to winning some games from last year.
Womens soccer off to a strong start

Returning as Western State Conference champions for the first time in history with an impressive 15 wins, three losses and two ties. Tommy Henninger, a business major at Santa Monica College, has decided he wants to become a professional sports better. "I am good at this and I understand the risks it comes with - I spend about six hours a week doing it," Henniger said. "I will be transferring to California University, Long Beach in the fall to earn my bachelors degree in business, but sports betting will still be something I still practice throughout my college career."
RC Everbeck: SMC's 48-Year-Old Football Player
Many people in recent memory have had opportunities to make a name for themselves early on in their respective careers. The majority achieved great success in their prime, while others set theirs in motion during their later years. Rarely has anyone been able to do both in a gap of three to four decades apart, and that is what RC Everbeck has done at the age of 48, and he now is the oldest starting football player in the country.
