Three Minutes From Winning

The Corsairs go against the Rustlers in an intense soccer game.
On Tuesday, the Corsairs’ men's soccer team played the Golden West College Rustlers at Corsair Field in a game that ended in a 2-2 tie.
The first goal of the game was scored by forward Phillip Hephzibah and was quickly answered by the Rustlers to even the score. Early in the second half, midfielder Roey Kivity scored a goal at the 50th minute, putting the Corsairs up one. The Corsairs played excellent defense, making it seem like the game was over.
However, with three minutes left in the game, the Rustlers scored again, ending the match in a tie.
Afterwards, Hephzibah said, “I’m screaming at the top of my lungs as much as I can to try to get the ball. Like I said, even up 1-0 just isn’t enough.” He then spoke on how he can improve, saying, “Even if I score, I know things I can improve upon next time, like touch-wise, or turning the ball better, or more obviously, get ahead of the ball better. But I’m always looking to improve every aspect of my game.”
